Itinerary Overview

Day 1.

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your guide holding a sign, and transfer to a comfortable hotel in Arusha. Use the afternoon to rest, enjoy the lively town atmosphere and go through a tour briefing before heading into the wild tomorrow..

Day 2.

Pick clients from the hotel after breakfast around 8am and drive to Arusha national park. There will be the briefing for the entire trip before departing to Arusha national park. The park is an outstanding and beautiful area! It is small but has a wide range of habitats from the string of crater lakes where water birds can be watched through the highland montane forest. The park contains a wealth of birds and other animals like Giraffes, bushbucks, Zebras, Baboons, Colobus monkeys, cape buffaloes, etc. Apart from game viewing we will also have a time to do a short walk within the park to a beautiful waterfall. There will be time for picnic lunch somewhere in the park and later drive back to the Hotel in Arusha. It takes about 45min to an hour to get to the park from the hotel.

Day 3.

Pick clients from the Hotel at 7:30am after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park. Game drive in the park looking for animals and learn about everything we see in the park. There will be time for picnic lunch in the park and continue with game drive until late afternoon when we will drive to a hotel at Karatu. Tarangire national park is famous for many elephants and other animals but also a good place to see Baobab trees. There is a lot to learn in the park and excellent scenery around. Late afternoon, drive to Karatu and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti national park through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will have time to stop at the Ngorongoro gate for signing and at the rim of the crater there will be another stop to see the Crater if the weather is clear. On the way to Serengeti, game viewing with picnic lunch on the way. Late evening drive to Tented camp or Hotel for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 5.

Spend the whole day in this famous park searching for Zebras and Wildebeest migration followed by predators like Lion, Leopard and Cheetah with picnic lunch. Late evening drive back to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight

Day 6.

After breakfast, do the final bit of game drive as we are heading to the Seronera airport to fly to Arusha or leave early after breakfast and drive straight to Arusha with packed lunch. Evening drive to the airport to fly back home. This will depend on your flight time of the day.

Day 7.

Spend another day in Serengeti and we will move to another location for accommodation if preferred. We will have time to explore more to see and learn in the park at different locations. Late evening we get back to our luxury camp/ Lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 8.

Start in the morning and continue with game drives looking for more or less of the same. The park is huge and lots to see. There will be a lot of options on what to do and where to go. Overnight at the same location.

Day 9.

Drive to Arusha and fly back home or fly from Serengeti to Arusha or Zanzibar.
